Shree Krishna Ghee Bhandar hand-churns A2 desi cow milk into ghee using the traditional Bilona method — slow, unhurried, and true to how it was always meant to be made.

Why Us
Four things we refuse to compromise on, batch after batch.
Sourced from indigenous cows raised on natural pasture, never rushed for yield.
Curd is hand-churned in a wooden bilona, then slow-cooked — no centrifugal shortcuts.
No preservatives, no artificial colour, no blending with other fats.
Every batch is tested for purity, with reports available on request.
Our promise
Ghee is easy to cut corners on and hard to catch. These are the corners we do not cut, written plainly so you can hold us to them.
Milk from indigenous humped cows — Gir and Sahiwal — never crossbred herds. It is the milk the bilona method was built around.
Curd churned in a wooden bilona, back and forth, until the butter separates. Slower than a machine and lower yielding, which is the whole point.
No palm oil, no vanaspati, no colour, no preservative, no essence. Milk, culture, time and heat — and that is the complete list.
Small batches from farms we buy from directly, bottled in glass and sent to you. Nothing sits in a warehouse waiting for a season.

Our Journey
Eight unhurried steps, the same way they have always been done.
Every batch begins with indigenous cows raised on natural pasture, cared for the way our own families would care for them.
Milk is collected each morning while it is still fresh, before the Bilona process begins.
Instead of separating cream directly, we let the milk set naturally into curd overnight — the first real step of Bilona.
The curd is churned by hand in a traditional wooden bilona until fresh makkhan (butter) separates from the buttermilk.
That butter is simmered on a gentle flame until it turns into rich, aromatic, golden ghee — no shortcuts, no rushing.
Each batch is lab-tested for purity before it leaves our facility, with reports available on request.
We pack in food-grade glass jars and stainless-steel tins — nothing that changes the taste or the trust.
From our farms to your festival thali, delivered pan-India with the same care it was made with.
In Their Words
“The aroma reminded me of the ghee my grandmother used to make at home. My whole family noticed the difference in the very first week.”
“I was skeptical about paying more for ghee, but one taste of this next to the branded stuff from the supermarket settled the question.”
“We use it for our Satyanarayan pooja every month now. It sets beautifully in winter, just like homemade ghee should.”
“Ordered the 5-litre tin for our joint family kitchen — the price per litre works out far better, and the quality hasn't dropped at all.”
The Ghee Range
From a 250 ml trial jar to a 5-litre tin, every size is the same hand-churned Bilona ghee — the only thing that changes is how much of it lands in your kitchen.

Questions
Our ghee is made only from A2 milk of indigenous cows, hand-churned in a wooden bilona rather than machine-separated. This process takes longer and yields less ghee per litre of milk than commercial methods, which is reflected in the price.
